 In that first year being Clean and Sober, your body and mind is going through changes because your body is no longer being poisoned. 

 You get sexually aroused, which greatly explains why couples get together and separate. Also you really want to drink and do drugs. It does pass.  The wanting drugs/alcohol part does. Throughout the book there are songs that I loved, still do, and new songs I discovered. Some say they can't listen to music they used to listen to. I personally did. Therefor, It is very possible.

This book has Stripper Vampires, and much drug and alcohol abuse. READ THE DESCRIPTION two paragraphs down. This book is inspired by me wanting sex, drugs, and Rock N Roll (GRAPHIC SEX SCENES) during that first year.

Synopsis

Finally finally finally Don Diputs has achieved his dream of being an affluent best selling author. It’s time to celebrate. Thus his agent sets him up for a vacation in a mansion. Things go awry starting with a debauchery of sex, drugs and strippers. Not your ordinary strippers. These are vampire strippers. Twisted in passion he questions his motives. These motives could be his end as he discovers that the mansion is haunted. To complicate matters even more he discovers that he maybe trapped in an immortal secret.

 Then I met this gay dude outside of an NA meeting. Chose him as a sponsor. He let me know he was gay immediately. He was a pianist on contract with the department of defense. He was a government contracted pianist. Had seven years of ‘clean time.’ His rock bottom was getting shot seven times when he was dealing drugs. Called him, family members and friends (including David’s mother) every night. When I graduated from ARD I heard my peers were not spared from the counselors calling them out. I remember all the patients, who had commenced, giving their academy awards speech. Thanking everyone who helped them in rehab. The Army Ranger colorfully compared his recovery to ranger missions. I was angry that my platoon sergeant wasn't there to hear my academy award speech. Therefore, I didn't give an academy award speech. “Hey lover, are you naked?” is how the conversation started. Then came all the nasty things she was going to do to me.
