This piece is adapted from my controversial comedy e-book "Can A Woman Make A Man Lose His Mind?" into song lyrics We Met like every clicheic’ cheesy positive love song ever heard. Ya’ know, the ones with the subject matter of falling in love when it’s good-like you and your lover are the only two things in the world that matter. I SAW IT IN HER EYES. , as clouds dance across the moon. And she kissed me Score-A kiss is a kiss. But yet, a kiss is a kiss. Then she starts telling me about how bad her ex did her. That’s kewl I don’t have to make myself look bad by telling her bad stuff about me as long as I keep her talking. Then she kissed me Score-A kiss is a kiss. But yet, a kiss is a kiss. Yea, it should be pretty easy to be her man, since she told me all the bad things that her ex’s did to her. All I gotta’ do is do the reverse. Right? A kiss is a kiss. But yet, a kiss is a kiss. Didn’t take too long before I was at her house North of the tracks (railroad tracks) over the river, and through the woods, You know, like the kind of house you see in one of those ritzy magazines that folks fantasize about living in. Baby, got the two story house with the “oh so pretty” columns. Has the second story walk around balcony. Has a stained glass front door. Her back yard is landscaped manicured. Ain’t no fowl odors. It seems like even the annoying insects need permission FROM HER to invade her property. A kiss is a kiss. But yet, a kiss is a kiss. After dinner we were watching TV. “Hope you don’t mind. I like to watch American Idol.” She tells me and it feels like in mere seconds I’m losing my I.Q. What lil’ I.Q. I have. I hate this show. Then we… A kiss is a kiss. But yet, a kiss is a kiss. I tell myself this is a small compromise that I need to take in order to have her. What else is left? Huh go out like DAN HARTMAN I can dream about you if I can’t hold you tonight Go through your conscious mind rolodex of what chick to fantasize about? Who is it gonna’ be? That one night stand from years ago? That single co-worker who you always got the x-ray eyes for? Which imaginary lover is it going to be?

Mid 2017: (c) 2017 I have subjected myself to needless misery. In the past I have taken everything as personal insult. Why? I think I did it to protect myself from being hurt. Not too long ago, I criticized online dating. Now that I am on an online dating site I think I have broken through lies I have told myself. I wonder if anyone else has told themselves these lies: There's no one out there for me. Why does this always happen to me? Girls won't like me once they know the real me. I am discovering that people need people. I am going out with several different women and realize it's not a personal jab if we don't meet again. All it means is we just don't mesh well.
