Training for Life (C) 2019

The point is…to remind
myself, especially when I don’t think I can go any further, that I made it. I
was able to do what I didn’t think I could do. I can use that in life
situations. Before I close my eyes for counts of three to seven, while I
breathe in though nose, then out of mouth, is there anything to get in my way.
It’s going to look pretty strange when a dude running in the middle of Highway
51 gets hit by a car. Reminds me of when Martin Lawrence. Years ago he was
running in the middle of streets ARTICLE ABOUT MARTIN LAWRENCE. I LIKE TO SCREAM A WAR CRY TO PSYCHE MYSELF
UP.
After I am clear of anything in my path, to block me, I look at
something in the distance, then I’ll close my eyes, do the breathing and
imagine that I am running passed that something. When I open my eyes again, I
am closer, and sometimes running passed that object-this is one of my
techniques for goal setting. Sometimes, using this technique I imagine myself
doing something that I don’t think I can do.
“Sometimes the body must show the mind,” I tell myself. But that doesn’t make sense at all. Without the brain you got nothing. Through using my will to accomplish things I am creating muscle memory. I am also creating memories of events that empower me.
