Let Us Not Forget President John F. Kennedy's contribution to Special Education

According to an article I researched JFK and his family did much in the area of Special Education. He was inspired to do so by his younger sister Rosemary. Starting in 1946 when Mrs. Joseph Kennedy established the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation. In which led to the Special Olympics.
JFK himself, brought credentialed professionals together to properly give proper needs to those with Special Educational needs. This brought forth jobs and better treatment. Also brought 116 amendments passed in congress, in the interest of those needing Special Education, that are still used today.
It is important to remember that everyone is entitled to fair treatment and equal opportunities in our country. As well as, other US Presidents to continue the work President Kennedy established.
