To Ben Earnest real life was not a kind place. In fact, at times it was very dull. Therefore, he added facts that were interesting to his World History high school students. And his hooks worked well. At one time his classes were the best in the school. Over the years, his facts he added turned into things that he totally made up.

At first the principal laughed at his antics. When his contrived History caused his school to fail state test, his principal fired him-that’s what he tells others.
