Excerpt: The Show Down At Midnight Mississippi

A few seconds later pro-wrestler Big Bad John is in the center off the ring. The sound of Redd’s jam is interrupted for two seconds as the words “BIG BAD JOHN”-sampled from the country song is heard over the loud speaker. John delivers a blow to both of their mid sections, then gets on the top turnbuckle, balances himself and springs off with a double shoulder block to both Fist and Pat. The crowd goes wild.
            BBJ (Big Bad John’s) celebrative act of getting on the second ropes and posing to the crowd was short lived. Pat got him from his back side in a bear hug, while balancing himself on the second ropes, lifts BBJ up and they both fall onto the mat. BBJ’s back of his head hit first. Fist just stood above them. Pat went for the one two three pin win but there was no referee to count. The crowd boos in disapproval with a loudness that drowns out Redd’s finish to “Boyz in the Woodz.” Redd didn’t get to finish his skit of explaining how the Jews hate the towel wearing Arabs because they need them towels for their bath room because his sound was cut off and I didn’t get the cue till Chip started Rapping:
“This the bitch yo’ parents warned ya’ bout. Give ya’ one wild nights ride and when it’s over leave ya’ with a Cuban necktie, Unable to shout fo’ help as tha’ bloodz squirtin’ you’ll be flapping like a dying fish”-now I get the cue to lay into a heavy slide- while a dj’s mixing “I ain’t the bitch to fuck with.” Bass drums follow with a fat indebted bass line on Guitar. I look behind me shocked as now I got a band behind me. Fist unfortunately shared my disbelief and became victim of a double assault. The crowd goes wild once again with deafening approval as he gets thrown out the ring. The projected screen shows Redd giving a thumbs down sign instruction to Pat. Pat’s stopped as he goes through the two ropes to the floor by BBJ grabbing him and follows with a reverse body slam. Now a referee slides in the ring and does a 1, 2 Pat kicked out before getting to the victorious 3.

Mid 2017: (c) 2017 I have subjected myself to needless misery. In the past I have taken everything as personal insult. Why? I think I did it to protect myself from being hurt. Not too long ago, I criticized online dating. Now that I am on an online dating site I think I have broken through lies I have told myself. I wonder if anyone else has told themselves these lies: There's no one out there for me. Why does this always happen to me? Girls won't like me once they know the real me. I am discovering that people need people. I am going out with several different women and realize it's not a personal jab if we don't meet again. All it means is we just don't mesh well.
