crossing the line between being an Artist and a Performer

Well, I didn't reach my goal-I REMAIN KEEPING MY EYE ON THE PRIZE. (NOTICE HOW I DIDN'T USE THE WORDS BUT, HOWEVER, YET)-these words can contradict the positive message I convey.

Our goal is to get $15, 000. book sales by May 2016.

The 'Our' I am representing is you.

I went into it fierce. Promoting my e-books "Instruction Guide On How To Be A Superhero" link to and Going Educational Book I link to.

Didn't go as well as I would have thought. Was about to quit. Naw done that too many times before.
Then I get featured in a news paper article from #ClarksdalePressRegister. read it here
That's what I needed. It was a sense of justice because I started writing on kindle while living in Clarksdale.  'Instruction Guide On How To Be A Superhero' started, as well was based on many locations in Clarksdale. Ironic, that the main character in those books learned to fight by attacking drug dealers and gang bangers in Jackson MS, and now I teach in Jackson. I thank all of you for your inspiring words of being so proud of me.

Days ago a person unfriended me on facebook after seeing one of my music videos. A couple more requested me to delete videos of collaborations. I reacted, initially, with hurt feelings. Then I realized I must cross the line between being an Artist and a Performer. Artist do it for themselves. Performers do it for their audience. link that inspired

This realization was a starting point for me to do a photo book about my adventures in Peru in the Summer of 2015. The footage from this experience was highly viewed in the social media.

Also coming to kindle will be Going Educational Book I and A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Souls.

 These books will be uploaded, and for sale by April 2016.

 “Dude, look at the way you live Like in a hovel,” his friend Carlton told him about a year ago. At that time, he was living in a two-bedroom apartment. “…that’s more like a compartment. 100 Love Letters I'll Never Send (Neediness, emotional blackmail and such isn't conducive to a happy productive life.) (c) 2017

Mid 2017: (c) 2017 I have subjected myself to needless misery. In the past I have taken everything as personal insult. Why? I think I did it to protect myself from being hurt. Not too long ago, I criticized online dating. Now that I am on an online dating site I think I have broken through lies I have told myself. I wonder if anyone else has told themselves these lies: There's no one out there for me. Why does this always happen to me? Girls won't like me once they know the real me. I am discovering that people need people. I am going out with several different women and realize it's not a personal jab if we don't meet again. All it means is we just don't mesh well.
