Martial Arts Training in a Memphis Tennessee batting cage blended with fighting.Montage

Slight Return (present day)
                             This is how you do it. After many weeks of training, if you are able to strike at least twenty balls with karate kicks inside the batting cage. You are ready. Ready to return to the streets.
Ya’ gotta’ change everything about yourself: the way you walk, the way you talk, and in anything else that makes you recognizable. To do this you have to keep a video camera on you at all times. Study the footage for weeks. Create a word or phrase in your mind that activates this NEW PERSONA OF CHANGE. Make sure this password is connected to some emotion. Fear, and loss of a loved one are good. Gotta’ be able to switch to your other persona when you don your WAR DROBE. DON’T EVER EVER BRING THIS PERSONA TO YOUR NORMAL LIFE. THE LIFE THAT SOCIETY KNOWS YOU BY.
Blind folded, as you inhale deep, the surrounding world shrinks. Listen to your heart beat. Breathe out slowly and listen to the world winds and all within the winds that are outside your oneness of self.
                             I heard a burst of air come from the batting cage machine. Swayed my head to the left.

Jackson Revisited Present Day:
                                      The attacker was sloppy. He tried “to sto” on me. With the miss he let out all the air in his lungs.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Batting Cage:
                   Next ball was toward my stomach. I step forward and spin kick it.

Jackson Revisited:
                   Struck him in the solar plexus with an upper cut. He drops to his knees. Inhale: The world wind. Three of em’ coming toward my right side. They’ll be in my proximity within 1,2,3…5 seconds.

Batting Cage:
                   Bent forward-then stand with power.

Jackson Revisited:
                         I bend forward and torque. Release the torque. Bend up. Flipped one of em’ over my back. He hits the ground hard.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Batting Cage:
Ball coming toward my knees. I stomp it down.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jackson Revisited:
                         Stomp down the attacker outside his knee. Heard the crack. I broke it. Three of em’ out.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Batting Cage:
                   The machine clicks cueing me to get ready. The balls are going to be coming faster.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jackson Revisited:
                            Heard several pistol clicks. And from within my mind the password “Fearless” surfaces. Of course, having the bullet proof vest on helps.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Batting Cage:
                   Take the hit to know the pain. The ball is coming toward my head. I turn my head. Let it strike me on my ear.

Jackson Revisited:
                             The bullet whistled inches from my ear. Thus,

Batting Cage:
my ears ring. Fearless. See the energy described by, clothed in, the senses-I smell desperation by their pores leaking out malt liquor.   FEARLESS-

Batting Cage:
                   I remove the blind fold. The balls are neatly grouped behind, to my sides, and to the front of me.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jackson Revisited:
                          Ten of em’ down. “DAMN, THIS SHIT REALLY WORKS!”
                                                                                                Next, I gather up the garbage. I neatly stack it. And place a note. With a red crayon I wrote…

Jackson Revisited:
        Minutes later from an undisclosed location I study the current surveillance footage. A police officer is reading the note.
