Years ago: I became fascinated to see if there was a black majick side of drug and alcohol abuse. Through my research I found out some fascinating things. Such as, finding out that the key word of pharmacy is pharmakeia. Pharmakeia translates into 'witch craft.  The most impressionable thing I found was on a youtube video The 7 Principalities of Hell - Bacchus & Why People Suffer From Addictions?    The narrator of this video spoke of the god Bacchus. She pronounced it "Baghh-koos." The idea that evil things are so profoundly in plain sight in our culture became quite apparent to me.  People use many phrases and words having no idea what they actually mean.   Then I thought out scenes like a drunk meeting his demise, by mistakenly going to the rehab place known as The House of Bacchuss, instead of the restaurant 'The House of Bacchus.' Then i thought about a scene in Best Buy, ‘ What if someone watched inappropriate videos in Best Buy. ...

I have been practicing guitar for thirty minutes a day, for four months now. I was inspired to practice every day, by a friend of mine who frequents the openmic at The Julep Room in Ocean Springs. He said he practices two hours a day. I reflected on my own practices and realized I may have been practicing an hour a week, Most of the time I practiced while watching television. I foolishly, only thought that I was just a terrible guitar player, and there was no hope.   It started off trying to learn Zakk Wyldes solo to Ozzy Osborne's  “No More Tears.” Then I started learning other cover songs during that thirty minutes. These songs were David Bowie’s “Heroes” Talking Head’s “Once In a Life time,” Social Distortion’s “Untitled,” and “When The Angel’s Sing,” Lynard Skynard’s “Simple Man,” and Bob Seger’s cover of “Trying to Live My Life Without You,” I also wrote poems. One of em’ I put chords to was “Making Something Beautiful Out of Something So Broken.”     ...

Years ago, The Owner was in prison, in a town only known by the numbers 1125137676. The prison was close to St. Francesville, Louisiana. His room mate Oliver only speaks ‘God talk’. Meaning that he only says biblical scriptures, and incoherent speech with the word Jesus, or Jehovah after every other word. They have been assigned to clean up the prison’s graveyard. On this particular day, Oliver was in pain from being assaulted by a prisoner, Isaac. The Owner was removing weeds from gravestones. After several minutes he noticed that he didn’t hear Oliver. “Oliver?” The Owner whispered to himself. “Where are you?” The Owner stood up saying it more like an order to whatever entity could be in the wind. After several minutes of looking, he found Oliver was kneeled in front of the statue of Jesus. The statue was covered with thorns and weeds. Jesus was in the middle of the graveyard. Running. Well that’s not true. More like a steady jog. Gotta learn to pace myself, so that I don’t burn out. In life you gotta pace yourself so ya don’t burn out; and thus hate what you are doing. As well as, pacing myself so I don’t get sloppy, and or waste time. Consistency. How can I do things the most concise way and not waste my efforts-work smarter not harder. Today I have to go further than I went yesterday. What’s the point?  The point is…to remind myself, especially when I don’t think I can go any further, that I made it. I was able to do what I didn’t think I could do. I can use that in life situations. Before I close my eyes for counts of three to seven, while I breathe in though nose, then out of mouth, is there anything to get in my way.
