First and For most I Love you all and thank you for your support.

At the end of 2016, I was inspired to do three different projects through this blog.

One is an open mic journal. In this journal, They Call Me Holmes, click here to read from They Call Me HolmesI tell what inspired me to write, stories behind the lyrics, stories about places I performed, and the philosophies involved.

Two is a spiritual, self-help, philosophy work, The Book of Am. click here to read from The Book Of Am I explore the things we do and the things we think as it correlates with our relationships with ourselves and others.

Three, 100 Love Letters I'll Never Send is about my thoughts of romantic relationships (Eros). This is something I have been wanting to write for over a decade. This contains (thus far)  poems and stories I wrote in the mid and late 1990's when I was going through my first break up. As well as current thoughts, feelings, and emotions of Eros. My hope is I will help others  "...so all broken hearts may be free." As well as to get myself better.

 They Call Me Holmes becomes a 100 Love Letters I'll Never Send in that some of the content is inspired by escaping and curing the pain from rejections by others, and from the heartbreaks of ex girlfriends.

In The Book of Am  becomes a 100 Love Letters I'll Never Send in that I am wanting to know how the human heart endures. I want to know how I can endure. Become greater and be at peace more. Perhaps falling in love is a great adventure. Staying in love is the great journey.



"Ask many hers/hims out and eventually you'll get that love."-not sure if I believe that. Or is it because I am afraid of the unknown and the rejection. AGHHHHHHHHH

 “Dude, look at the way you live Like in a hovel,” his friend Carlton told him about a year ago. At that time, he was living in a two-bedroom apartment. “…that’s more like a compartment. You really think you gonna attract any kind of female?” “What about you, living in that tin can?” Tin can was what he called Carlton’s trailer home. Mid 2017: (c) 2017 I have subjected myself to needless misery. In the past I have taken everything as personal insult. Why? I think I did it to protect myself from being hurt. Not too long ago, I criticized online dating. Now that I am on an online dating site I think I have broken through lies I have told myself. I wonder if anyone else has told themselves these lies: There's no one out there for me. Why does this always happen to me? Girls won't like me once they know the real me. I am discovering that people need people. I am going out with several different women and realize it's not a personal jab if we don't meet again. All it means is we just don't mesh well. I must look at women like I would friends. Neediness, emotional blackmail and such isn't conducive to a happy productive life. When I told myself such lies I acted out on them.
