During Hurricane Katrina there was darkness at dawn.
I look, at this drunken written, poem I wrote September 9, 1997 and remember the flies that came in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. I also wondered if the dead I had angered years before hand were seeking retribution.
Years earlier the fortune teller told me "God is love. God is time." Then she pulled out three tarot cards: The Lovers, Death, and the Fool. Placed these cards between us. "You must understand that love has no man made time line. You've angered someone on the other side. Those on the other side, who have what you call died, have a different sense of time. To them a few seconds is a few years. They ,of the other side, tell and show us things, we want to know now, years later. Some call this 'Dead Time.' Others call this 'God Time.'"
I was broken hearted and the flies would buzz around my head. click here for related story
Would wake up in the morning wondering if the end of the world was upon us.
I kept a blanket over my head so they wouldn't get me. I just knew for sure that the devil was coming for me.
When flies buzz around your head they say that beelzebub is coming for you. בַּ×¢ַל ×–ְבוּב , BaÊ¿al ZÉ™vûv; Arabic: بعل الذباب , Ba'al ... Flies, bees, and locus are also signs that beelzebub is near.
